Note to ReadersDear readers, In February 2008, I wrote about slowing down (see entry below), and I've now determined that I've slowed down to the point where I am no longer writing movie reviews on a regular or semi-regular basis, and the focus of my site, WindowtotheMovies.com, will change. For now, I've decided that I am not closing the site; instead, it will become a free-for-all slate for myself, where I may write reviews for movies, current and old, as I see fit. This would then be not unlike the many movie blogs out there in the netspace, and so, like those sites, I won't be making any promises about what I will or will not be writing about. I simply know that I'd still like to retain an outlet for when I do have the urge to write, and so here it remains. I will proceed for now by at least continuing to write short ("capsule") reviews for movies released during my coverage period (post-2000) anytime I catch one. Again, thank you for reading, Dear readers, Certain recent personal priority shifts have occurred in my life, so I am announcing that I will officially be slowing down with my movie reviewing. I considered stopping completely, but I've decided I'll just more strictly pick and choose what to see and review, so what this mainly means is that I won't be having a new review at the pace of at least one-a-week, like I used to. For now, I'll at least indicate what reviews will be appearing in the near future on the front page, so people will know what to expect. Then, around summertime, I may re-shift my priorities again, so I'll see what happens as the year progresses. Thanks for continuing to read, |
